FDNY VFW Post 12033

100th anniversary Veterans Day Parade
1100, 11NOV2019 - muster: 1000
Broadway and 24th Street

Dress uniform shall be worn, PLEASE wear the OFFICIAL VFW CAPS if you have them

We hope to have at least 47 members to carry American Flags filling the ranks to represent the 47 FDNY members who have lost their lives while serving on Military Active Duty.

Unfortunately, the FDNY has had another KIA this past year and we will add another flag for FF Slutman to represent the 47 service members that have died while on active duty over the history of the department.

The VFW is taking names for the 47 flag detail. You do not have to be a member of the VFW but we are asking all veterans of all services and time periods to volunteer.
If you know of any Military Veteran (active or retired) members of the Department, please extend the invitation to join us.
There will be a limited number of vehicles for family and members with difficulty marching.
If you are scheduled to work and wish to march or interested in attending, contact FF Sam Erwin @919-270-1074.
Post members are invited to an after Parade gathering at the Irish Pub, 837 7th ave between W53 and W54 streets.
