The proud and brave wounded American Troops and their families continue to need assistance and support from patriotic Americans in continuing with their lives during and after injuries from war.

As the wounded heroes return home they and their families endure countless financial and material obstacles unimaginable to most freedom-loving Americans. Family members leave their jobs and travel great distances to be at their loved-ones bedside for weeks and sometimes months. Houses need to be renovated to accommodate the various disabilities, vehicles need retrofitting, unexpected expenditures persist, and shattered lives need constant care. Their personal sacrifices preserve our freedoms here in the United States and throughout the worldfighting the war on terror subsequent to the tragic events of 9-11-01 on our homeland.

Through the ongoing efforts of both the FAMILY & FRIENDS FOR FREEDOM FUND, Inc (non-profit 501C 3) and the FDNY-VFW POST 12033 the financial & material burdens are lessened to the extent our supporters donate and participate in various fundraising opportunities.
